Anita Belleschi Grifoni Tulle Museum
Set up inside the Church of St. Augustine, the Museum proposes a collection of Ars Panicalensis, artifacts, refined embroidery on tulle, which has a centuries-old tradition in Panicale. It is a great stop off on the regional circuit of “The museums that have fabric”, aimed at enhancing age-old artisan traditions that at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries were widespread, allowing women to reach small spaces of economic autonomy. Anita was the creator of the embroidery school in the first half of the 20th century and made the transmission of this important artistic handicraft possible.
