La Valle Nature Oasis

“La Valle” nature oasis is in Loc. San Savino with an area of about 1,000 ha, it is a humid area of great ornithological interest, with shallow waters and extensive reeds, an important stop over and nesting site along the migratory routes from northern Europe to sub-Saharan Africa. The oasis has a visiting centre equipped with a multimedia didactic room, a scientific-educational laboratory, an exhibition on the historical-naturalistic aspects of the Valle, a station for the scientific ringing of birds and other visitor facilities.
