Church of St. Carlo Borromeo
The Church of St. Carlo Borromeo was commissioned by the Apostolic Nuncio at Madrid Cardinal Cennini. The church was consecrated in 1629 and is dedicated to St. Carlo Borromeo. It is a very particular church, open for worship only during the Easter period and is covered with funeral vestments that hide 19th century decorations and paintings. It houses a precious wooden statue and a simulacrum of the dead Christ, dating back to 1620.
